Whilst high in cocoa content for a milk chocolate, dont forget that the flavour will be diluted when you melted into milk, so you may want to play with the amount of chocolate to milk ratio.
When we work with this chocolate to make the flakes, we do not add any more sugar, or any other flavourings/powders etc for that matter, to them, so it is a truly pure hot chocolate.
It is very easy to make a hot chocolate Chococo-style, all you have to do is warm a small amount of milk in a pan with the flakes (35g) and once the chocolate has melted into the milk into a smooth paste, add the rest of the milk (200ml) & whisk as it warms. We believe we were one of the first, if not the first, UK artisan chocolatier to pioneer making truly fresh chocolates using locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We’ve won 128 national and international fine food awards so far, with 77 Great Taste Awards including in 2023 for our signature milk and dark chocolates. We only enter awards that are blind judged, to benchmark ourselves, learn from the feedback of judges, and use those learnings to constantly improve.
