We are aware that there is still a lot of confusion out there about dark chocolate and whether it is vegan - it is and should be as it is just a blend of cocoa beans and sugar! So a bar that says 70% on the front of packaging means that the balance is sugar.

However, be aware that some cheap dark chocolates add some milk powder (we dont know why either) so they are not naturally vegan, so you should check the back of packaging before buying.

By the way, we do not claim to be a free-from brand as we do work with dairy in our chocolate kitchen, so we cant guarantee that our dark chocolate items are 100% free from any traces of dairy....we are upfront about this and do say this on all our packaging!
