Our Dark Ocean Egg is the Telegraph's Best Dark Chocolate Easter Egg

The Telegraph online published a review recently of 2022 Easter Eggs and awarded Best Dark Chocolate Easter Egg to our Dark Ocean Egg. We were chuffed to bits to see this as we do indeed aim to make chocolates which both taste good and do good too.

Our dark chocolate eggs are handcrafted with our single estate Direct trade chocolate from Ecuador. Containing 72% cocoa solids, this chocolate is made for us by Martinetti Cocoa in Ecuador with local heritage arriba cocoa beans sourced from Hacienda Zoilita, cocoa farm in the Los Rios region where the Martinetti factory is located. It has rich rounded earthy flavour notes with hints of raisin and mellow coffee on the finish.

This is what the Telegraph had to say about our dark chocolate Ocean Egg:

"Chocolate that tastes good and does good too. This deliciously rich single-origin dark chocolate egg is handmade in Dorset. Each egg has dark chocolate turtles and starfish studded inside it and 5 per cent of the proceeds go to The Ocean Giants Programme charity".
