We have won another 4 Great Taste Awards!
We were thrilled to see that we have won another 4 Great Taste Awards today taking our total to 142 national & international fine food awards won to date, of which 87 are Great Taste Awards...so you could say we are definitely 'officially delicious'!
The Great Taste Awards are known as the Food Oscars as they cover pretty much every food & drink category available and this year there were over 15,000 entries from 3,919 companies from 116 countries around the world (wowzers!). Only 1,596 products won a 2 Star Gold, so our Nutmeg is one of that illustrious 10%, and 4,286 won a 1 Star - still only 28.5% which is not a high %!
Our winners this year:
2 Star Gold for Nutty Nutmeg - one of our oldest flavours which last won a Great Taste back in 2014 so we felt it high time that we checked in to see if its still as good as our customers think it is...and it got a 2 Star! So we must be doing something right for this to be an award-winning flavour after 20+ years of being made!

'Beautifully presented chocolates with a hazelnut aroma. The nutmeg comes through well, it is balanced and brings an almost perfumed notes to complement the good quality chocolate and praline'
1 Star Gold for Cocoa Fruit Caramel - we launched this exciting new flavour in 2025 and it went on to win a Silver in last year's Academy of Chocolate Awards, so it is very satisfying to see it also win a Great Taste Award - foodie experts all agree that this is an award-winning flavour.

'Pretty looking chocolates, generously filled with glossy caramel...we liked the way the flavour started with honey then became less sweet and more refreshingly citrus-like' - that is exactly how these chocolates taste and it is exciting to see the experts getting it!
1 Star Gold for Bob's Bees - whilst we have been working with Robert Field (aka Bob) our local beekeeper with hives all over Purbeck & Dorset since we launched Chococo back in 2002, this version of our honey chocolate is relatively newer and this is its first gong!

'We liked the geometric, abstract shiny domes...the honey is floral and balances well wth the vanilla notes of the white chocolate..an unusual combination which has worked well'
1 Star Gold for Hot Honey Caramel - we launched this flavour earlier in 2026 for Valentine's Day especially and it was such a hit that we thought we would enter into the GT awards and it was the right call as the judges have awarded it a gong!
This is what they had to say about it:
'Just the right size, this is the perfect mouthful and would go down extremely well at a dinner party...the initial hit is caramel-rich evolving to honey complexity with subtle chilli umami on the finish adding an additional layer of interest'.
We will be making the Hot Honey caramel chocolate again in the new year but all the others are available to buy now from our loose chocolate display cabinets in our Chocolate Houses and also online. They will also be featuring in our fresh selection boxes & themed seasonal selection boxes.
