Chococo Dulwich, our 5th Chocolate House is OPEN!

We were thrilled at the warm reception we received for our opening day of our first Chocolate House in London, on Croxted Road in West Dulwich. We have been warmly welcomed by local businesses and were chuffed at how many local people came out on Saturday to check us out!

We had a wonderful day filled with chocolate and joy - we offered lots of samples (well actually not quite enough as it turns out), the chance to win chocolate prizes including dinosaurs, mice & robots, on our spin the wheel, an entertainer for the little people in the morning, the chance to win a giant chocolate hamper if you could guess the number of cocoa beans in the jar and free blonde chocolate angel bars for shop purchases of £10+

Co-founder Claire, Steph our marketing manager & long term Swanage team member Julie were there to support Dulwich manager Giudi & her team for the opening weekend and no doubt will be back again and we were very busy all day!

Helen Hayes, MP for Dulwich & West Norwood also came along to say hello & cut the ribbon to declare us officially open - she was pleased to see a new business opening in her constituency and had this to say after visiting us:

It was wonderful to see so many local residents visiting the shop and café and to sample the delicious chocolates on offer. Chococo is a fantastic addition to the brilliant community of small independent businesses in West Dulwich.”

We want to thank everyone who came on our opening day for their patience in queuing to order their hot chocolates or to pay for their chocolates - we had a few teething problems on the tech front, as can happen with any launch, but we are working on resolving them as quickly as possible.

Our basement room with additonal seating will be open in the new year and we are also aiming to offer chocolate events in this space too. This will include tutored chocolate tastings and chocolate parties for kids - watch this space for more information as the plans take shape!
