We are proud to announce the newest additions to our awards trophy cabinet, Cocoa Fruit Caramel & Wild Thing! Our oldest, already award-winning, flavour from the launch of Chococo back in 2002 and now our newest flavour from 2025, are both making waves in the chocolate world!
Wild Thing Chocolate
Our iconic Wild Thing has been an unstoppable force of flavour since the beginning of Chococo and was one of our original flavours at launch back in December 2002 when Claire & Andy first opened the door to their tiny chocolate kitchen with the shop upstairs in a converted hairdressers in a back street in Swanage in Dorset. Its 7 Great Taste & Academy of Chocolate awards over the years since we first started entering awards back in 2003 speak for themselves! This fresh chocolate contains a kirsch-soaked griottine cherry nestled in a fresh Dorset cream & dark chocolate ganache in a marbled white & dark chocolate dome.
It is wonderful for us all to know that, nearly 23 years after launch, one of our original flavours is still deemed award-worthy!

Cocoa Fruit Caramel
Join our cocoa fruit revolution! We launched this very special chocolate back in the summer using a unique cocoa fruit concentrate created in Colombia by the very clever folks at Luker Chocolate who are on a mission to use more of the cocoa pod than is traditionally used when making chocolate.
The fresh white fruity tasting 'flesh' or 'cocoa fruit' around each bean in a freshly picked cocoa pod is usually lost as part of the cocoa bean fermentation process, but they found a way to extract some of this flesh, without upsetting the fermentation process, and create a uniquely tangy, fruity concentrate with it.
We are the first UK chocolatiers to work with this concentrate to create our bright fruity luscious Cocoa Fruit caramel which is encased in rich, Ecuador 72% dark chocolate. The result is a harmonious balance of deep chocolate notes and bright fruit flavours - combining two parts of the cocoa pod. It’s not just a chocolate - it's a whole new dimension for a sophisticated and reimagined chocolate flavour experience and now with a Silver Academy of Chocolate award!
