Enjoy this wonderful tube of 8 dark chocolate turtles knowing that you are doing a little bit of good too!
With every tube of 8 dark chocolate turtles sold, we are donating 30p to the Ocean Giants Programme. The Ocean Giants Programme is an international conservation charity, which protects the ocean’s largest and most threatened marine species, and their biologically important habitats. Having started Chococo in Swanage - a small seaside town - the ocean is very important to us and we are very proud to be supporting their incredible work.
The OGP is responding to the global threat of extinction to some of the most iconic species on the planet. Only through integrating international research, with local marine conservation and education will Ocean Giants such as manta rays, whale sharks, dolphins, whales and sea turtles survive and thrive. Working exclusively with both internationally renowned scientists, Plymouth University and local project partners, OGP is offering a new, refreshing and more effective approach to the understanding and protection of Ocean Giants. Working with four partner marine conservation NGOs in Mexico, Tanzania, South Africa, and the Philippines, the Ocean Giants Programme are nurturing local conservation action, education and outreach and also inspiring the next generation of marine scientists to become future ocean guardians through funding marine students securing placements with these four NGOs.

Chococo's COCOA powered Promise...
This is chocolate for change. Slave-free, palm oil-free, less sugar, directly traded, totally sustainable and utterly equitable, not only is our chocolate officially delicious, it’s choc full of soul too. We don’t believe anyone else can match our COCOA powered promise…
Colourful
We’re a kaleidoscope of flavour and colour. Truly fine chocolates and as the Evening Standard once put it, “each one is like a miniature piece of art”. In 2024, we asked customers to describe our boxes, bars, novelty shapes, brownies and hot chocolate… the most common words were “innovative”, “delicious”, “ethical”, and “fun”.
Original
We’ve been handcrafting in the UK since 2002 and will always do so. We believe we were one of the first, if not the first, UK artisan chocolatier to pioneer making truly fresh chocolates using locally sourced seasonal ingredients. We’re an independent brand and believe that has always helped us produce chocolate with soul.
Conscious
We’re proud to work with our direct trade partners to produce chocolate that adds value to the local economy, is slave-free, palm-oil free, high in cocoa, low in sugar, and completely sustainable. 100% of our packaging is plastic-free and either recyclable or compostable too, and we support sustainability projects across the world.
Open
We strive to make the world of chocolate more open, opening up knowledge on cocoa and sugar, opening up opportunities for our partners, and opening up flavours for our customers with new products at prices that we aim to keep as low as possible, which only change when our supply and labour costs change significantly.
Award-winning
We’ve won 128 national and international fine food awards so far, with 77 Great Taste Awards including in 2023 for our signature milk and dark chocolates. We only enter awards that are blind judged, to benchmark ourselves, learn from the feedback of judges, and use those learnings to constantly improve.
