Details

This is our dairy-free version of our hugely popular chocolate biscuit cake, or Purbeck Marble Cake as we call it due to all the marvellous stone along our stretch of Dorset coastline, in the style of a festive wreath. Chococo co-founder Claire adapted an old family favourite tiffin recipe to create the original Purbeck Marble Cake many years ago now & it has become a key part of the Chococo range. We hope that this non-dairy version goes down just as well!

This chocolate biscuit cake biscuit wreath makes a delicious alternative to a Christmas cake and is filled with rich tea biscuits, dried morello cherries & raisins to give both crunch & sweetness to complement the 67% Madagascan origin dark chocolate, just the same as our classic biscuit cake wreath. However, we have swapped butter for vegan butter equivalent inside & this wreath is covered with more dark chocolate & our vegan-friendly Cashew Milc chocolate snow. Cashew Milc is made with cashews, so this wreath definitely contains nuts!

To make this wreath suitably festive, we then decorate each one with pecans & cranberries in a decorative style faintly remininiscent of holly leaves...ok, you may have to use your imagination at this point, but it looks fabulous!

This wreath is presented wrapped in compostable corn starch cello on a cake board & inside a cake box, so is in plastic-free packaging.

This "cake" is also egg-free and will last up to 8 weeks....as if! It will keep quite happily if wrapped up in between servings if you are a smaller number than usual this Christmas.
