This gorgeous egg is a thing of beauty and has proved to be an annual favourite. Hand-decorated on the outside with stylish splashes of natural colours, when broken open, the stunning diamond-faceted 45% Venezuela origin milk chocolate Easter egg reveals six luscious 2 Star Gold Great Taste 2020 Award-winning Dorset Smoked Sea Salt Caramel gems nestled in a twist of tissue.
Each egg is moulded by hand in two halves in several stages to build up the layers of chocolate. If that isn't enough, we then fill the milk chocolate egg with the gems, before the two halves are hand-sealed together by our wonderful making team. Each and every egg is then hand-decorated by our resident artist Jacqui.
This egg was voted Best for Design by the team at Olive magazine in their online review of the best Easter eggs for 2019. Their comments were:

100% plastic-free packaging: The egg is wrapped in recyclable food-safe tissue inside a new recyclable kraft box which measures 16cm tall by 11cm square - we don't believe in excess packaging, so the box is not huge vs the size of the egg inside, but you are getting a lot of egg for your box!
Ingredients: Chocolate (sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla), sea salt caramel (light muscovado sugar, glucose syrup, butter (milk), fresh Dorset cream (milk), Dorset smoked sea salt), natural colours: curcumin, spirulina, beetroot.
Dark chocolate: 72% (min) cocoa solids
Milk chocolate: 45% (min) cocoa solids, 18% milk solids
