We have won another 8 Great Taste Awards!

We are extremely excited to announce that we have won another 8 gongs at this year’s Great Taste Awards, taking our total to 108 national & international fine food awards won to date, of which 68 are Great Taste Awards!

From our handcrafted chocolates, to freshly baked brownies, refreshing gelato and our single origin hot chocolates, they were all judged blind and all received stars and some wonderful comments from the judges.

Earning Two Star Gold Awards from the Great Taste Judges are;

Dorset Sea Salt Caramel Gelato.
‘Really beautiful and harmonious flavours that are both rich yet cleverly fresh with length on the palate but a clean finish.’

Gingerbread Caramel Chocolate.
‘The inside is a dark, oozy filling, with a rich and comforting flavour, the warmth of the spicing inspires thoughts of winter evenings by the fire.’

70% Single-Origin Madagascar Chocolate Flakes.
‘The made-up hot chocolate has a wonderful rich cocoa flavour, that pairs fantastically well with the milk. The hot chocolate is smooth textured and of really intense, well-balanced flavour.’

Receiving a One Star Gold Award was:

45% Venezuela Milk Chocolate Gelato.
‘A lovely, smooth gelato with a wonderful rich chocolate and caramel flavour. A beautifully balanced flavour, delivering characterful milk chocolate notes and a well-judged, balanced finish. Delicious.’

Dorset Sea Salt Caramel Brownie.
‘An incredibly soft truffle-like texture and we enjoyed the salted caramel within. The quality of the chocolate is evident, delivering a wonderfully fruity finish, and a well-balanced sweetened to pair with the chocolate.’ ‘This is a serious chocolate brownie!’

100% Los Rios Ecuador Chocolate Flakes.
‘If you love dark chocolate, these flakes really do the business. They offer that roasted, woody, cacao flavour in abundance and it’s almost coffee-like in its character.’

Peach Bellini
