We are going mad for Mango in June!
We have decided that summer is nearly here (even if the weather doesn't seem to agree yet), and are delighted to announce the launch of our new Mango & Passionfruit flavoured fresh chocolate and sorbet.
The domed chocolate has a Venezuela milk chocolate shell with a layer of passionfruit curd, made for us by Susan of the Alweston Jam & Chutney Empire in North Dorset, on top of a fragrant sumac-spiced mango-infused white chocolate and fresh Dorset cream ganache. Aromatic, zingy & refreshing, this chocolate is perfect for summer. Each chocolate is then hand-decorated by Jacqui with a bright yellow dot and green speckles, all made with natural colours (curcumin & spirulina).
What's more, we have just heard that this chocolate is also an award winner! We entered a batch into this year's International Chocolate Awards back in April & in the British round of the European Craft Chocolatier Competition, it has won a Silver medal! We are absolutely thrilled with that and hope that you agree with the chocolate experts on the awards judging panel. We think it will be eligible to go forward to the World Finals later in 2022, but will await instructions from the organisers on that front!
If gelato is more your thing at this time of year, you can visit one of our four Chocolate Houses in Swanage, Winchester, Exeter or Horsham to try our new Mango & Passionfruit sorbet - you won't believe that this refreshing fruity sorbet is vegan-friendly as it is so smooth and creamy!
Our Mango & Passionfruit chocolates are available to order online in our Summer Collection Box, are in our fresh Chococo selection boxes and will shortly be available in a box of 9 chocolates on their own too. The Mango & Passionfruit sorbet is currently only available from our Chocolate Houses.
