Update from Claire about our Chocolate Houses re-opening on Wednesday 2nd December

Hello everyone, co-founder Claire here with an update for you. As lockdown #2 comes to an end, a quick update for you all on what will be happening in our Chocolate Houses as of Wednesday 2nd December until Christmas.

All the shops within our Chocolate Houses will be open again (yay!), but we will continue to offer a limited cafe takeaway service, as our focus will be on looking after all our customers who want to come in to buy their Christmas Chocolates. Our teams are a bit smaller than they normally would be at this time of year, so we have decided to stick with a takeaway cafe service to keep things speedy for you all. However, you will be able to perch on the distanced seating we have inside if you want to enjoy your drinks & cakes in the warm.

We hope that you understand why we have made this decision and we will, of course review this in January, once the frenzy of Christmas is behind us.

We will be continuing to operate our strict Covid protocols in terms of number of people on site, the wearing of face coverings, the team cleaning down surfaces and sanitiser for all. We are also still contactless-only for payments please!

All 4 of our chocolate houses will be open slightly longer opening hours than they have been through lockdown #2 and prior to that to give everyone time to come in before Christmas. Click here to view the opening times for your local Chocolate House.

We have stocked each store up with a wide selection of our Christmas range ready to buy now and will be supplying the stores with pre-packed fresh Christmas Selection boxes from the weekend of 12th December to help those of you who are happy to buy a curated selection box for a speedy purchase, vs choosing your chocolates from our display cabinet. We are very conscious that this can be a slow process, so are doing what we can to speed things up for you all!

By the way, the range in the display cabinet will initially be a little smaller as they will only include chocolates that will last until January. We are also still offering our Click & Collect service online or Call & Collect (ring your local chocolate house direct) service if you want to speed up your time with us in-store even further.

As ever, our Chocolate Houses will be closing early at 3pm on Christmas Eve and will re-open again on 27th December. All will be closed on New Year's Day, except Swanage. More details on opening times over the Christmas & New Year holiday period to follow.
