Our Platinum Jubilee Weekend opening times

As the Platinum Jubilee weekend approaches, and the excitement for a 4 day long weekend builds, we thought you might like to know that our four Chocolate Houses in Swanage, Winchester, Exeter & Horsham will be open as normal throughout the weekend's festivities.

By the way, all have outdoor seating if you would still rather not sit inside if you are visiting our cafes within our chocolate houses. We now also have outdoor umbrellas at our original chocolate house in Swanage, so you can escape the sunshine (as & when it decides to shine more consistently than it has managed recently!).

So you can pop in to pick up your special Jubilee chocolates or visit our cafes for a celebratory treat of one of our single origin hot chocolates, Great Taste Award-winning gelatos or brownies & other bakes. Our Dorset HQ will be closed on Thursday & Friday though, so we only have 3 days to pack a normal week's worth of making chocolates, bakery & gelato into!

All our shops will have fresh stocks of our limited edition handcrafted, fresh 'Royal Tipple' and 'Pink Fizz' chocolates as in our special Jubilee Selection Boxes. We created these chocolates in honour of her Majesty and the 'Royal Tipple' was inspired by her favourite cocktail - Dubonnet & Gin with a twist of lemon. Our chocolate version is a hand-decorated single origin milk chocolate dome filled with a fresh Dorset cream, from Craig's Farm Dairy near Weymouth, and Venezuela origin 45% milk chocolate ganache blended with Dubonnet, Dorset's Conker gin & a touch of lemon. It is gently boozy with a citrus top note and has been a big hit with our online & shop customers!
Our 'Pink Fizz' is a fun Ecuador origin 72% dark chocolate gem containing a white & ruby chocolate blended with marc de champagne, a hint of English Rose oil for a gently floral note and popping candy for a fun fizz as you eat it....well, we couldn't resist having a bit of fun with this chocolate.

The Jubilee Selection box also contains our 'Lemon Zing' chocolate which is our nod to Lemon Posset, apparently one of the Queen's favourite desserts, our multi-award winning 'Mellow Mint', made with fresh garden mint, and also our annually popular 'Cream Tea' - a white chocolate & clotted cream ganache topped with a tangy raspberry jam...it would be churlish not to include this one for this celebration!

They will also have some pre-packed Jubilee Selection boxes if you are too late to order yours online.

Don't forget that this is a short working week for us all (& the post), so if you do still want to order one of our Jubilee Selection Boxes, special Biscuit Cake Crowns or postal brownies for nationwide delivery, then please place your online order before 9am tomorrow Tuesday 31st May - we need to get your orders into the post before the postie arrives here at Chococo HQ in Dorset tomorrow afternoon to ensure you get your delights on Wednesday ahead of the bank holidays.
