Our new Vegan Advent Selection Box has been chosen by the Independent on 30th October as one of their Top 10 picks of chocolate advent calendars for adults for 2019.

If you’re less bothered about the little cardboard windows and more concerned about the contents, you’ll love this chocolate box from award-winning British artisan chocolatier, Chococo. This box contains 25 vegan chocolates, seven of which are completely new flavours for 2019 – including spiced rum, Mexican chilli and Christmas cluster with candied orange and cardamom.
A numbered frosted sleeve sits over the chocolates, telling you which to have on each day of December (they’re so fresh they need to be eaten in this order). You’ll find each flavour is repeated once but we’ll have to try them all again to decide if our favourite was the seasonal tawny port and fig or the date and cognac.
We are chuffed to bits to see it included as it is new this year & we have created a number of dairy-free & vegan-friendly chocolates just for this special selection box, including new agave honeycombe (existing Chococo customers will know that our current honeycombe is made with Dorset honey, so we have created this special version with agave instead), Spiced Rum, with Devonshire dark rum distilled in Exeter by the Two Drifters Distillery, cashew 'milc' chocolate studded with a toasted cashew nut, 80% Uganda origin truffle & a new dark chocolate cluster studded with candied orange, cardamom, pistachio & cocoa nibs.
This box also features many existing chocolates which are also dairy-free including classic marzipan, multi award-winning Tawny Port & Fig, date & cognac, pineapple & coconut Caramel & many more!
The chocolates are all arranged in date order in the box & there is a special frosted sleeve & numbered menu to help guide you & the box is plastic-free - no plastic trays to hold the chocolates in place in any of our boxes at Chococo!
