How to make a Chococo Fondue at home
Our chocolate fondue is the perfect Christmas treat and a wonderful dessert to share with friends and family over the festive period.
This quick and easy recipe is made with just three ingredients and is ideal in the centre of the table for dipping fruits, mallows, and shortbread!
For this fondue, you will need:
- 175g dark chocolate (min 70%)
- 35g milk chocolate (minimum 40%) - you can use our oat m!lk chocolate drops for a vegan fondue!
- 120ml just boiled water
To make the fondue, put the chocolates in a heatproof bowl, set over a saucepan of barely simmering water and let melt gently. Do not let the base of the bowl touch the water!
Once the chocolate has melted pour in the just-boiled water, a third at a time, stirring after each addition, until you have a smooth sauce. (Do not add in the water while it is still boiling as it may scorch the chocolate.)
At this point, you can jazz up your fondue with vanilla extract, chilli powder, or ground cinnamon - choose a spice you love and experiment!
