Beat the January blues with a delicious Chococo hot chocolate

Now that winter has decided to pay a visit, it really is hot chocolate weather! If you have visited us in either Swanage or Winchester, you may  have discovered our unique range of origin hot chocolates in our cafes.

Now you can enjoy a hot chocolate Chococo-style at home with our packs of 70% Madagascan origin chocolate flakes (our house hot chocolate) & also packs of 100% Colombian buttons to melt to make a delicious sugar-free hot chocolate (you can add sugar to taste but lots of customers enjoy it as is).

Both our hot chocolate options are dairy-free, so you can keep them dairy-free if you make your drink with soya or almond milk (both of which are now available in our cafes too).

We also have gorgeous hot chocolate hamper gifts including a salted caramel hot chocolate hamper, complete with a tub of Cornish sea salt, a jar of dulce de leche caramel and a recipe.

Making a proper hot chocolate at home is easy, melt the chocolate into a small amount of your chosen milk in a pan to make a smooth paste and then add the rest of the milk, whisking all the time with a small balloon whisk to create a froth on top. It's better to take it off the heat just before it comes to the boil too - the texture of the milk is better. Pour your drink into your mug & add a little extra flaked chocolate on top if you so wish & enjoy!
