This fascinating article was published earlier in September by the Guardian newspaper and summarises the rise of tree to bar chocolate production in a few African cocoa growing countries and the huge benefits it provides to the local economy,
We are very proud to buy chocolate from Chocolaterie Robert in Madagascar, one of the companies featured in this article, and in fact Chococo co-founder Claire visited their factory in Antananarivo & cocoa plantations in the Sambirano valley in May 2016.
