Dorset Magazine feature our NEW hot chocolate Melts
We were delighted to see our new Hot Chocolate Melts featured in the Food & Drink section of the September issue of Dorset Magazine.
As they rightly say, simply pop the chocolate ball into your mug, pour over 200ml of hot milk (or a plant-based alternative - oat works very well) and watch as the milk melts your melt and the mini vegan marshmallows that were hidden inside, start to float to the surface!
We offer two melt options in our award-winning signature 47% milk & 72% dark chocolates - both recently won 1 Star Gold in the 2023 Great Taste Awards which was super exciting for us as these two chocolates are made exclusively for us and are now both award winners!
If you prefer your hot chocolate on the sweet side, choose a 47% Colombia origin milk chocolate Melt (still with vegan marshmallows inside - we are not fans of the gelatine normally used to make marshmallows!), but dont forget that when you add milk to milk chocolate, you will further dilute it, so it wont have a very strong chocolatey flavour as a drink.
If you prefer your hot chocolate richer in flavour, then definitely choose our signature 72% Ecuador single estate dark chocolate Melt. Being plant-based already anyway, this Melt will be vegan-friendly if you choose a plant-based milk alternative. Our 72% Ecuador is also our best selling hot chocolate origin in all our Chocolate Houses - once you taste a hot chocolate made with fine dark chocolate, you wont look back!
Both our Melts are available in our four Chocolate Houses and also online if you click here. We also sell the enamel mugs as in the photo both in our shops & online.
