Book now for our Fine Chocolate Tasting Evening at Chococo Exeter on March 2nd
What better way to spend an evening than discovering and tasting the world of fine origin chocolate from tree to bar at our Chococo Exeter Chocolate House on Gandy St on March 2nd from 6.30pm.
Chococo co-founder & chocolate expert Claire Burnet will take you on a voyage of discovery tantalising your taste buds along the way and bring to life the transformation from pale seeds hidden underneath a sweet fruit inside cocoa pods to delicious chocolate.
Lasting 2 hours, the evening will start with a glass of something fizzy as Claire takes you on a global journey to discover the world of fine origin chocolate from tree to bar, tasting many examples of fine origin chocolates from different cocoa producing countries around the "cocoa belt" along the way.
Claire will explain where & how cocoa is processed & the many stages involved to be able to create chocolate - processes that most people are not aware of and includes many surprises.
Claire will also help you discover how best to taste chocolate and help encourage you to think about chocolate in a way that you have never done before (& surprise you with some of the flavours along the way).
The tasting is very interactive and in Claire's experience of running many similar events, everyone gets really involved and asks lots of questions (which she loves!).
The journey will finish with a tasting of some of our award-winning fresh chocolates (& a goodie bag to take home if you cant manage any more...which often is the case!).
Tickets are £20pp and it's best to book in person at our Gandy St Chocolate House or by calling the team on: 01392 249 422
Space is limited as this is an intimate "round the table" evening, so please dont leave it too long to book!
