The 12th annual national celebration of fine chocolate is here & we hope to inspire you to discover our world of fine chocolate from today until Sunday 16th October in our three chocolate houses, & with special offers online.
If you visit us in Swanage, Winchester or Exeter you will be able to enjoy tastings, discover our NEW TruffleTruffle, launched in celebration of the week (it's one of our most unusual yet as it is handmade with Dorset-foraged Black Summer truffle & Black Moth truffle-infused vodka), taste chocolate from bean to bar, taste our 100% Colombian hot chocolate (& how the flavour changes if you add sugar), choose our next Limited Edition slab (which we will start making next week based on your votes), enter a competition to win a chocolate hamper (& help us raise money for a girls home in Madagascar), enter a daily Lucky Dip if you spend £10+ (everyone is a winner) and enjoy 15% off if you spend £15+
You will also be able to meet our chocolatiers if you visit our chocolate house in Exeter on Thursday or Saturday morning, Winchester on Saturday (you will meet Claire one of our founders there) & Swanage on Friday afternoon & Saturday - our chocolatiers are sampling both a new festive chocolate still in development (so you can get a preview & tell us what you think) & also our Gingerbread Caramel & Tawny Fig, festive chocolates which will also be available to buy in new boxes being launched on 15th October.
Both the Gingerbread Caramel & Tawny Fig chocolates are also Gold medal winners in this year's Academy of Chocolate Awards & International Chocolate Awards (British) & both are finalists in the International Chocolate Awards World Final being judged this week with the results being announced at the Chocolate Show in London this Friday 14th - how exciting is that!
We will also be running our #lovechococo competition on social media all week - the best 3 photos taken during the week showing you enjoying your Chococo experience will win a box of our award-winning fresh chocolates!
And if that wasnt enough, keep an eye out on social media for our #magicwords - they will pop up throughout the week & if you visit any of our chocolate houses & say the magic words to our teams you could win a free hot chocolate!
Special events in our Chocolate Houses:
Chococo Winchester: Chococo-late 14th October - we have teamed up with the Cabinet Rooms, food & drink event organisers extraordinaire, to bring you a very special evening of chocolate and cocktails for the region's most adventurous chocoholics at Chococo Winchester aka Chococo-late!
The event will run from 7-10pm and entry is free however a limited number of tickets are available to secure seating fro the duration of the event. Tickets cost £10 per person and include a chocolate & cocktail flight.
Tickets can be purchased over the counter at Chococo Winchester or online via: www.cabinetrooms.com.
Food & drink will also be available to purchase on the night.
Chococo Swanage: Lolly Making 15th October: We will turning our chocolate kitchen opposite our chocolate house into a chocolate lolly making zone - no need to book & no age limit, so chocolate fun for all the family on a hopefully sunny Saturday!
