Chococo events to celebrate Chocolate Week 2014

It's National Chocolate Week from Monday 13th - Sunday 19th October & this year, Chococo is celebrating in style!

Totally Twisted Nose, the winning entry into our customer competition held in June to create a new chocolate incorporating a local Hampshire flavour. This chocolate combines two - fresh watercress & watercress-infused Twisted Nose gin, distilled in Winchester!

 

Discover new flavours every day in both our Swanage & Winchester stores. We will be offering samples of the day that across a wide range of our fresh chocolates, origin bars, hot chocolates & tablet (Scottish style fudge).

 

We will also be launching new items in our bakery range, created for Chocolate Week by Jenny, our master baker based at our chocolate kitchen in Swanage.

 

Winchester is also going mad for fine chocolate as we we have teamed up with two fantastic local restaurants who will be offering tasting menus or desserts using our origin chocolates & they will also be giving samples of the new Twisted Nose chocolate to their diners:

Claire will be giving a talk at the Screenbites festival screening of "Nothing Like Chocolate" at Durweston (near Blandford) on Friday 17th. www.screen-bites.co.u

 

Claire will then be at the Chocolate Show at Olympia in London on Saturday 18th to give a talk at 4pm about running a fine chocolate business in Dorset & the ethics of sourcing (with lots of tastings!).

 

Chris, Alan & Tanya will be at Eat Dorset Food Fair at Parnham House, Beaminster on Sat 18th & 19th with tastings, chocolates to buy & will be running a truffle making demo on Sunday 19th. www.eatdorsetfoodfair.co.uk
