We were delighted to be included in this wonderful book written by journalist & chocolate lover Andrew Baker for the AA. Published in September 2019, this new book is both travelog around the UK & homage to the world of fine chocolate. Andrew explores every corner of the country in his quest to seek out & share for his readers both the rising stars and more established businesses (like ours) of fine chocolate industry in the UK.
It is also a very amusing read - his commentary about his travels and experiences with everyone he visits has some genuinely funny laugh out loud moments which just add to the joy of reading about such a joyful, life affirming product as chocolate!
Andrew came to visit us in Dorset back in January 2019 & spent a very happy day with us both in our chocolate kitchen in Wareham & at our original Chocolate House in Swanage - he had a go at piping truffles with Emma, which he describes with some glee, and he was also very taken with how we make & decorate everything by hand. He then enjoyed a hot chocolate in Swanage and we had a long chat about life, the universe & everything related to chocolate. Our passion for doing the right thing comes through in his observations about us & our ethos.
