Coronavirus statement from Claire & Andy after the Prime Minister's speech on 23rd March
A message from co-founders Claire & Andy on behalf of all the team - UPDATED MONDAY 23rd MARCH:
We are working super hard to ensure we are doing the right thing for our teams, for you our customers & to comply with all government mandates, so after the Prime Minister's speech to the nation this evening, this is Chococo:

All our Chocolate Houses are now closed.

* The safety of our team is our number 1 priority so we have instigated new working practices including introducing a new split shift system to reduce the number of people working at a time in a strict rotation & are operating extreme social distancing measures of max 2 people at a time in our packing room (which is c1,000 square foot), so we are an even smaller team than we are normally and we are a small business as it is!
* We are not making any new chocolates for now, so are focused on despatching the chocolates that have already been made and will review when we will be able to re-start production.
* As our marketing, finance & operations team are working from home, we only have a skeleton crew to answer the phone, so please bear with us if you get an ansaphone rather than a person. If possible, we would prefer it if you could contact us with any queries by email to: [email protected] .
Our Online Service:
We are still working hard to be able to post chocolates out to you. All items are despatched via Royal Mail. However, please note that Royal Mail are now longer offering guaranteed pre 1pm next day delivery service so items may well take longer to arrive with you.
Our website still has most of our Easter and other chocolate gifts available for delivery across the UK but there are now limited stocks on a number of items.
We are despatching orders as soon as we can after receipt as we are operating on a day to day basis with a small team. We are not able to accept any future delivery date requests and would much rather you received your Easter gifts ahead of time, than despatch them at the last minute, which will be very stressful for us all!
Finally, please don't worry about receiving your Easter gifts earlier than you might normally get them, they will be perfectly happy stored somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight.
