Back for 2021, our best-selling milk chocolate Heavenly Honeycombe egg looks great and tastes even better!
Handmade with 45% milk chocolate from Venezuela, our honeycombe Easter egg is made in several stages. Each egg is made in two halves - we start off by dusting the egg mould with the edible gold shimmer and then build up the layers of milk chocolate.
We have to let each layer set before adding the next & then we stud the inside of each half with big chunks of honeycombe. By the way, we make all our honeycombe here at Chococo with local honey from Field Honey Farms based in Swanage in Dorset. Finally, each egg is stuck together by hand by Dan - making an egg here at Chococo is not a quick process!
The Egg weighs 175g and is 13cm tall.
The egg is wrapped in recyclable food safe tissue inside its NEW 100% plastic-free recyclable kraft box which measures 16cm tall by 11cm square - we dont believe in excess packaging, so the box is not huge vs the size of the egg inside.
Ingredients: (90%) Venezuela origin milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, whole milk powder, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla), (10%) honeycombe (sugar, glucose syrup, Dorset honey, bicarbonate of soda), edible lustre (E171, E172, E555).
Milk chocolate: 45% (min) cocoa solids, 18% milk solids
