Meet Golda, our gold chocolate skull bar to celebrate this year's Spooky Season of Halloween & the Day of the Dead festival.
This chocolate skull bar is handmade from our Gold, caramelised white chocolate with its nostalgic caramel flavour notes. She is decorated by hand by Jacqui in our house Madagascar 67% dark chocolate & Colombia origin white chocolate.
What is Día de los Muertos?
Dia de los Muertos - also known as 'Day of the Dead' is a Mexican festival to remember loved ones that have passed. Families go to the cemetery to decorate the graves & tombs of their relatives. The three-day fiesta from 31st Oct to 2nd November is filled with marigolds, the flowers of the dead; muertos (the bread of the dead); sugar skulls; cardboard skeletons; tissue paper decorations (often decorated with skulls & skeletons riding bicycles or dancing); fruit & nuts; incense, and of course hot chocolate!
