Our fabulous dark chocolate covered roasted Colombian coffee beans now come in a stylish kraft box. These coffee beans are grown, roasted & smothered in chocolate all in Colombia. This is known as Raisetrade (a step beyond Fairtrade) as it adds more value to the local economy than exporting dried coffee & cocoa beans, even fairtrade beans, to be processed in Europe or the USA.
These dark chocolate covered coffee beans are the largest we have come across in all our years in the fine chocolate industry & are certainly extremely moreish. In fact, in a Financial Times taste test of chocolate hampers back in December 2013 (which we won) the critics raved about our chocolate coffee beans describing them as:
"Sensationally well-roasted beans for a crunchy mocha explosion in the mouth".
Further, Luker out in Colombia runs an educational programme called The Luker Way, to help educate and train farmers to improve their yields of both coffee and cacao, rather than coca!
