We were delighted to be included in this wonderful book written by journalist & chocolate lover Andrew Baker for the AA. Published in September 2019, this new book is both travelog around the UK & homage to the world of fine chocolate. Andrew explores every corner of the country in his quest to seek out & share for his readers both the rising stars and more established businesses (like ours) of fine chocolate industry in the UK.
He visits chocolatiers and bean to bar makers in York, East Anglia, London, The South West, Dorset (we get a whole chapter!), Manchester, Huntingdon, The South (we get another mention as he visits Winchester),  Wales & Scotland.
It is also a very amusing read - his commentary about his travels and experiences with everyone he visits has some genuinely funny laugh out loud moments which just add to the joy of reading about such a joyful, life affirming product as chocolate!

Andrew came to visit us in Dorset back in January 2019 & spent a very happy day with us both in our chocolate kitchen in Wareham & at our original Chocolate House in Swanage - he had a go at piping truffles with Emma, which he describes with some glee, and he was also very taken with how we make & decorate everything by hand. He then enjoyed a hot chocolate in Swanage and had a long chat about life, the universe & everything related to chocolate with co-founder Claire. Our passion for doing the right thing comes through in his observations about us & our ethos.

Fizzy Pudding - An annual festive best seller, this is our milk chocolate "Christmas pudding" decorated with a naturally coloured sugarpaste holly leaf, blended with smooth hazelnut praline, mixed spice, orange oil & popping candy for a fabulously festive fizz!

Mince Pie - dried fruits, apples, lemon & orange zest, mixed spice & a splash of brandy in a Venezuela origin fresh cream & milk chocolate ganache for a taste of Christmas

We use Royal Mail for all packages under 2kg. You can select your preferred delivery method AND preferred delivery date as you go through the checkout process.
