When you create a new user account at, we collect your name and email address. If you place an order for a product that requires payment, we collect your credit card billing address, and email address on our server, but all secure details are conducted by our payment partner, SagePay. This Information will be used to process orders and, if necessary, to contact you regarding the status of your orders.

In order to develop our business we do use some of the collected data including recipient details to profile you and your order profile. This data is used to improve our service to you and identify new customers who we should be marketing to.

The Use of Your Data with Regards to Trustpilot

To try and give customers the best experience when shopping at Chococo, we have teamed with the independent review company Trustpilot to collect independent customer reviews. Through Trustpilot, we will contact you, via your customer email address provided, to ask you to please share with us your experience of using our Chococo website. The only information that Trustpilot get is customer name, order number, and email address to enable them to contact you on our behalf.

We provide Trustpilot with these details under the following conditions:

When you add a personal message to an order, your message will be printed on a gift card that is part of our dispatch stationary. This is positioned inside the outer box so the message cannot be read during transit.
