2010 Workshops & Parties

Our chocolate kitchen at Cocoa Central is available for making & tasting workshops in the holidays and also for hire by groups (for birthday parties or workshops) from October Half term 2010.

We will post dates for forthcoming workshops, bookable by individuals, on our website news page & also on our Facebook page.

Chocolate-making workshops

These hour-long fun-filled, chocolate making workshops are offered in holiday periods on both weekdays & weekends, in sessions designed for children or adults.

The children's workshops are designed for children age 7 years + and they will get the chance to make and decorate their own bars or lollies, dip honeycombe chunks into chocolate and have a go at moulding chocolate shapes.

Everyone gets to take their creations home at the end of the workshop.

Adult workshops run on similar grounds… and why not, release the inner child we say!

Global Chocolate-Tasting workshops

Aimed at adults and run in holiday periods, discover the world of fine origin chocolate in our tasting sessions, with fabulous chocolate from Venezuela, Bolivia, Peru, Grenada, Madagascar and more.

Find out how cocoa is grown, harvested and processed into fine chocolate, ask all the questions you have ever wanted to about chocolate, and enjoy!

Chocolate-making & tasting workshops for Groups

We now offer bespoke chocolate "Making & Tasting" Workshops here at Cocoa Central, suitable for groups of at least 10 adults during weekdays or Saturdays – either mornings or afternoons.

Perfect for a celebration with a difference, corporate team-building session or just for fun, these 3-4 hour sessions combine the best of both our chocolate making & tasting workshops.

Not only will you get an insight into the world of chocolate, by taking part in a global chocolate tasting, but also get involved actually making chocolates in our chocolate kitchen (& you get to take your creations home in your own party bag - well, why not be like a big kid every now & then!).

There is an upfront fee for hiring the chocolate kitchen payable upfront and then a per head fee payable on the day. Please contact us for full details.
