Workshops & Parties
Our chocolate kitchen at Cocoa Central is available for chocolate workshops in the holidays and also for hire by groups (for birthday parties or workshops).
We will post dates for forthcoming workshops, bookable by individuals, which usually take place during holidays, on our website news page & on our Facebook page.
The range of events at our chocolate kitchen at Cocoa Central include:
Holiday Workshops for individuals
We run two types of chocolate making workshops in holiday periods, on both weekdays & weekends, in sessions designed for children or adults.
Children’s workshops run for 1 hour and are designed for children age 7 years +. Whilst the content will vary by season, amongst other things, they could get the chance to make and decorate their lollies, dip honeycombe chunks into chocolate, make popcorn truffles, and create their own chocolate pictures. Everyone takes their creations home at the end of the workshop. Hairnets & aprons are provided but we do ask that all long hair is tied back and no jewellery is worn.
Adult workshops run for 2 hours and include key chocolate making techniques such as making a ganache, truffles, how to temper chocolate at home and more.
Dates & prices for these sessions will be posted on the news section of our website and on our Facebook page when available.
Chocolate Masterclass Parties for Groups
We also offer bespoke chocolate masterclass parties in our chocolate kitchen at Cocoa Central, suitable for groups of at least 8 adults (or a family group with offspring age 13+), during weekdays or Saturday afternoons.
Perfect for a celebration with a difference, hen party, corporate team-building session or just for fun, these 2-3 hour sessions give you a chance to discover chocolate Chococo-style with either Claire or Andy Burnet, founders of Chococo.
In our 2 hour sessions, find out more about the world of fine chocolate, learn some chocolate making techniques & top tips that you can apply at home & above all, have some fun getting involved making fresh cream truffles, mendiants (disks covered with your choice of treats) & other recipes from the Chococo chocolate cookbook written by co-founder Claire.
In our 3 hour sessions, enjoy a unique global chocolate-tasting session, tasting chocolate made from fine cocoa beans grown in different countries around the world, including Grenada, Venezuela, Madagascar and Tanzania, as well as your chocolate-making experience.
If you are interested in booking a group session, please email us at email@example.com for prices, availability & what you would like out of the event, so that we can tailor it to best meet your needs.
