We were thrilled & honoured to win another 6 Great Taste Awards in 2015. Announced on August 4th, our wins are for the following chocolates;

2 Star Gold:
Salt Sweet Smoke - our Cornish sea salt liquid caramel, described by the judges as having " a beautiful balance of salt to caramel and the quality of the chocolate is excellent"

Espresso - our coffee chocolate made with origin coffee supplied by local Dorset artisan roasters BeanPress from their Bird & Wild range. The judges loved this chocolate too "gorgeous ganache, smooth, creamy excellent coffee hit, well balanced, great chocolate quality"

1 Star Gold:
Lemon Zing - we are chuffed that this chocolate has won an award as it is one of our most popular flavours. Made with fresh lemon curd crafted for us by Rebecca of Rebecca's Kitchen just down the road from our chocolate kitchen in Wareham. The judges said; "the lemon curd brings a delightful and welcome balance to the chocolate with each of us having to hold back from demolishing the plateful"...praise indeed, but we are not sure why it didnt get a 2 Star with comments like that!

Perfect Passion - our zingy passionfruit described by the judges as" the acidity of the fruit is delectable", " good quality chocolate & a thin, crisp shell"

Sakura Tea (available again from Sept) - Our sencha sakura tea chocolate made with Japanese tea from Char Tea Merchants in Winchester - "a lovely creamy chocolate", "good consistency", "the flavour of the filling last well and gave a pleasant after taste"

Outrageous Orange Slabs - we dont often put slabs into the awards but are glad we did this year as it won! "Not too sugary and this well-made bar has a clean, fresh orange flavour" - we totally agree judges!
