A few spaces left on our next Chocolate tasting & making workshop for Grown-ups on March 2nd in Swanage

We have a few spaces left on our new format fun chocolate tasting & making workshops for grown-ups at our Swanage chocolate house taking place this Saturday 2nd March.

We have created this new format to respond to demand from grown-ups who are clearly jealous of the fun that kids have at our hour-long holiday workshops! Perfect for groups of friends or come on your own - a warm welcome is guaranteed either way by our Swanage team.

So, why not release the inner child & join us for 2 hours of chocolate inspiration & fun....

The workshop starts with a tutored chocolate tasting in which you will find out about the world of fine chocolate from tree to Chococo - find out where cocoa grows, how it is harvested & processed into chocolate and how to taste it. This tasting is very interactive with a giant map of the cocoa belt, photos from co-founder Claire's trips to cocoa plantations in Grenada & Madagascar, roasted cocoa beans to break open & of course, tastings of lots of different origin chocolates as we take your taste buds on a journey of discovery. We guarantee that you will never look at chocolate in quite the same way again!

Then roll up your sleeves for some fun stuff - you will find out how to work with chocolate at home & along the way, get to make & decorate your own bar, a lolly (perhaps to give away if you feel required to share at least some of your loot) and a mini chocolate "salami" - yes you read that right! Our chocolate fruit & nut salamis are a huge hit every Christmas & make a delicious treat to enjoy at any time of year.

Each workshop runs from 11am - 1pm and takes place in our bakery (which was our old chocolate kitchen before we moved our chocolatiers to a bigger unit in nearby Wareham back in 2010) opposite our Chocolate House.

Cost per person is £30 payable on booking (booking is required as spaces are limited).
To book, please call the Swanage team directly on their bookings hotline: 01929 422748

Please tie long hair back & remove as much jewellery as possible. We also require closed toe shoes to be worn (which should be fine at this time of year) & no "fluffy" jumpers please. We will give you a (very attractive) hairnet & apron to wear for the workshop too.

We look forward to welcoming you for 2 hours of chocolate fun!
